The party's agriculture spokesperson has joined those who've highlighted the risk to local businesses such as the Shed Distillery in Drumshanbo from tariffs in the US.
The Leitrim distillery has a major market in the United States, where it exports gin and whiskey. Despite the 90 day pause in the tariffs, it's feared the US administration may increase the taxation should the EU retaliate.
