Positive cases of Covid -19 have majorly dropped in hospitals across the Shannonside region.
Covid Wards in local hospitals are currently treating 27 patients with or for the virus.
Levels are significantly down on the same period last month were 105 covid positive patients were admitted.

University Hospital Galway and Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe have the highest levels locally at 9 and 7 patients respectively.
That's followed by 6 and 3 cases in Tullamore and Sligo Hospitals, while there are just two people admitted to the Mullingar Hospital covid ward.
Nationally, Cork University has reported the highest number of positive patients, with 24 on site.
