Last-minute Christmas shoppers will head to several towns in the Shannonside region today. Roscommon town, Longford town and Carrick-on-Shannon have been busy over the past few weeks.
The president of Carrick Chamber, Finola Armstrong-McGuire, says trade has been good in the town recently.
