People living in the Shannonside region are being urged to remain vigilant this winter to prevent crime. That's the message from the Federation of Victim Assistance, who say vulnerable neighbours need support. It comes as An Garda Síochána commenced the winter phase of Operation Thor earlier this month. Founded twenty years ago, the Federation of Victim Assistance is a charity organisation which offers support to victims of crime.
