It's after the government announced plans to cut waiting lists for children hoping to get assessed.

Serious concerns have been raised about the shortage of therapists, for children with disabilities, in Roscommon and Galway. It's after the government announced plans to cut waiting lists for children hoping to get assessed. Parents who believe their child has autism will also be encouraged to avail of a new autism assessment launching in February.

But Sinn Fein TD Claire Kerrane told the Dáil it won't solve the recruitment problem:
