A Roscommon councillor says a lack of accommodation is damaging the county's tourism sector.
Ballintubber councillor Michael Holland says people are not visiting due to the lack of available rooms.
He claims a number of GAA supporters opted against attending a major championship match at Dr Hyde Park due to the issue.
A number of Donegal fans, he says, could only find hotel rooms in Sligo ahead of the game last June.
