The need for increased parking facilities at Roscommon University Hospital has been brought before the floor of the Seanad. The matter was raised at this month's meeting of the health forum west by Cllr Emer Kelly. In response, the HSE acknowledged the extend of the problem, labelling it "urgent and essential".
Officials are examining both on-site and off-site solutions, while a wider masterplan for the hospital campus is currently being developed. Local Senator Gareth Scahill is looking for answers:
