A Roscommon Senator has called for a debate on the lack of Gardaí being allocated to local divisions.

194 new Gardaí graduated from Templemore earlier this month.

However, it later emerged that no newly attested Gardaí have been allocated to the Roscommon-Longford Garda Division.
