A new National Famine Way Roadshow will begin in Roscommon on Monday next and will take place in seven locations nationwide.
It will feature talks and presentations by leading local and international famine historians.
The Roscommon event will take place in Strokestown on Monday from 3 to 5 pm in the Vaulted Stables at Strokestown Park.

Monday's Roadshow will include speakers such as Caroilín Calleary, founder of the National Famine Way.
