Roscommon teenager has won Ireland's 'Best Junior Baker' award

A Roscommon students has won a 'Best Junior Baker' award in a nationwide competition to find Ireland's Best Banana Bread Recipes.

14-year old, Isabelle Sexton, from Roscommon town, was chosen as the 'Best Junior Baker over 10' category by celebrity chef Donal Skehan with the support of Fyffes.

Isabelle is from a family of award winning bakers, her mother Margaret won the Aldi national brown bread baking compeition at the National Ploughing Championships in 2015.

The Convent of Mercy student impressed with her 'Chocolate Orange Hazelnut' Banana Bread.
