Roscommon recorded highest temp of 2022 so far yesterday

Roscommon recorded the highest temperature of the year so far yesterday.

The Mount Dillon weather station led the way with a reading of 20.9 degrees celcius yesterday afternoon.

Met Eireann reported another four stations at Shannon Airport, Belmullet, Newport, and Mace head in Galway also reaching a temperature of 20 degrees.

Sadly there’s no indication of any repeat of the conditions for the next few days at least.
