A Roscommon man has raised over €20,000 for a local mental health charity. Paul Little swam the length of the Shannon this month in aid of Northwest STOP. Friends and supporters turned out to welcome him home at Tara Marina in Knockvicar last Thursday following his heroic efforts.
Paul's 230-kilometre swim took him from Dowra in County Cavan to Limerick in just eight days. He says he's delighted with the amount of money raised so far:
