A novice driver is to face court proceeding after testing positive for cocaine at a Garda checkpoint in Roscommon.
Members of the Roscommon Roads Policing Unit detected a car in which the rear seat passengers had no seat belts on.
A subsequent road side fluid test was then conducted on the novice driver.

The test showed a positive result for cocaine and the driver was arrested at the scene.
They'll face court at a later date.
