The Chief Executive of Roscommon Council says he's hopeful the local authority will recoup costs from Storm Éowyn by the end of the year.
Shane Tiernan says the council are owed over a million euro from the Government.
Thousands of people in Roscommon, Leitrim and Longford were left without power for weeks following the devastating Storm in January.
