Roscommon advanced to the semi-final of the Christy Ring Cup after a 20 points to 17 win over Sligo in Athleague.
Roscommon had led eight points to 11 at half-time with Cathal Dolan score six free’s and one form play with Eamon Flanagan adding a free, Johnny Coyne scoring two points and one point from Conor Mulry.
Conor Mulry, Oisin Kelly and two Cathal Dolan frees moved Roscommon ahead before a Sligo Rally which levelled the game at 15 points each.

However Roscommon were stronger in the final quarter two Cathal Dolan frees and one from play with an Eoghan Costello point and a Cathal Dolan free sealing the 20 points to 17 victory.
