Work on resurfacing the N5 between Tulsk and Rathcroghan in Roscommon is expected to begin in March.

Councillor Valerie Bryne said she's been receiving frequent phone calls complaining about the horrendous condition of the road with some motorists reporting damage to their tyres.
It's hoped that the works will now begin in March of this year.
