The Shannonside region is set to enjoy more bearable conditions over the next week.
Counties Longford, Leitrim and Roscommon each saw temperatures hit highs of 30 degrees during a recent spell.
This brought an official heatwave- five days in a row with 25 degrees or more.

Temperatures are set to soar towards the end of this week.
