Concerns have been raised about Roscommon's housing targets and the zoning of land in the county.
It comes as revised figures were released by the county council as part of proposed alterations to the County Development Plan.
The Government has instructed local authorities to reopen their development plans in order to increase zoned land,
Cllr Paschal Fitzmaurice says the new targets go against what was previously issued by the Office of the Planning Regulator:
Roscommon's also expected to build 392 new houses each year until 2034 as part of the plan.
