A local SPCA organisation is urging the public to get any stray cats neutered.
The call comes from Roscommon SPCA under the SPAY-A-STRAY 2022 programme, with many areas experiencing a rise in the number of feral cats.
The initiative which is currently being offered to those living in County Roscommon gives people a reduced fee for neutering cats during the months of January and February.

Roscommon SPCA say now is the time to spay that stray with prevention being key before kitten season.
