A public meeting is taking place in Athlone this evening in relation to a large scale housing development. Alanna Homes are set to construct a 576-unit estate in the Lissywollen area.
The project includes 174 social housing units as well as two creches. The meeting is taking place in the Scoil na gCeithre Máistrí Gaelscoil from 7pm this evening with representatives from the developer due to attend.
