A public meeting will take place in Roscommon tonight to oppose a proposed wind farm. Ballyfeeney Green Energy Ltd have made a design enquiry to Roscommon County Council for the development in Kilglass. The request was made on the 17th of April and includes a proposal for six wind turbines in the Ballyfeeney and Tully areas. A group called Ballyfeeney Against Turbines is urging local residents to attend tonight's public meeting. The meeting will take place in Kilglass Gaels GAA Club at 7.30.
