A public meeting is being held this evening in Co. Leitrim to discuss recent power and water outages. Leitrim Public Participation Network are hosting the special meeting at The Den on the Swanlinbar Road in Ballinamore.
In the aftermath of Storm Darragh, over 31,000 customers across the Shannonside region were without electricity, with some premises in Co. Leitrim going 8 days without power. Local Cllr Gary Prior says there's anxiety that Storm Éowyn will cause further long term outages this weekend:
