Local Fianna Fáil representatives in Longford will raise the need for additional funding for the upgrade of the N4 with the Public Expenditure Minister this afternoon. Minister Jack Chambers is visiting the county today.
€2.4 million was allocated to the N4 Mullingar to Longford project earlier this year by the Department for Transport. However, Local Councillor Seamus Butler says further investment is needed:
