Public consultation tomorrow over permanent south Roscommon flood-relief plan
The flooding at Lough Funshinagh in south Roscommon in the past

Roscommon County Council has confirmed the public consultation will take place at the Hodson Bay Hotel.

A third public consultation event will take place tomorrow to identify a viable permanent solution to flooding at Lough Funshinagh.

It follows a meeting between OPW Minister Kevin 'Boxer' Moran and residents near the Roscommon turlough today.

Roscommon County Council has confirmed the public consultation will take place at the Hodson Bay Hotel.

Members of the public can review the nine options being considered from 4pm to 8pm.

Secretary of the Lough Funshinagh Flood Action Group, Geraldine Murray, says they had a positive meeting with the Minister:
