A rally was held in Carrick-on-Shannon today in support of the people of Gaza.
It comes as thousands took to the streets across the country to protest Israel's attack on Gaza and the breaking of its ceasefire agreement with Hamas.
Local officials estimate hundreds of people died, while an Israeli government spokesperson said that half were 'terrorists.'
In the Shannonside region, rallies organised by the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign took place across counties Leitrim and Roscommon.
