Potential Presidential Election candidates are currently making presentations to councillors in Roscommon this afternoon.
So far, 9 candidates have made their pitches to Roscommon Councillors.
They are Charlotte Keenan, Lucy-Anne O'Leary, Gearoid Duffy, Keith McGrory, Nick Delehanty, Walter Ryan-Purcell, Charlie Keddy, William P. Allen and Gerben Uunk.
They've all been given 5 minutes to make a speech and then a further 5 minutes allocated to questions from Councillors.
A total of 16 candidates are expected to give presentations in Aras an Chontae this afternoon.
MMA fighter Conor McGregor was one of the potential independent candidates due to speak to Councillors but he withdrew from the race this morning.
Businessman Gareth Sheridan who secured the nomination of Kerry County Council today, is due to make his presentation shortly.
Once all candidates have made their presentation, there will be a short break and Councillors will decide whether or not to nominate a candidate for the presidency.
