A popular south Leitrim pub will shut its doors this weekend after 32 years in business. Gordon's Cosy Corner in Mohill made the announcement on social media this afternoon.
The pub first opened on December 19th in 1992 and quickly proved popular with patrons. Posting on Facebook, John and Eileen Gordon thanked all those who had supported the business over the past three decades. Speaking to me earlier, former Leitrim councillor and Mohill native Thomas Mulligan said it was a sad day for the village:
