Pollution fears from Mohill wastewater plant - EPA

There's a plan to upgrade Mohill's plant by 2030.

The environmental watchdog is warning there's a risk of pollution from Mohill's wastewater treatment plant in Co Leitrim.

It's one of 34 'priority areas' around the country, according to the EPA.

They're prioritised because discharges from these areas were identified as the main source of pollution affecting local rivers, estuaries, lakes and coastal waters.

There's a plan to upgrade Mohill's plant by 2030.
