Permission is being sought for the construction of a new housing development in Roscommon.
Planning applications have been submitted for the establishment of 86 two and three-storey houses and apartments in Monskland, Athlone.
Included in the application is the proposed development of a creche building for 60 children, as well as a pumping station with new access roads, footpaths, as well as a public open space and a car parking area.

The project has been proposed by KDM Contracts Ltd.
Planning permissions have been received by county planners and are due to be decided upon by the end of December.
