A well known county sports club is seeking planning permission for a significant upgrade of their Longford town based ground.
A planning application has been submitted by Longford Rugby Club to construct a standalone gym building at its club at the Desmesne in Longford.
The plans include the gym building and would incorporate a Gym/fitness area, a first floor fitness class studio, reception, changing rooms and toilet facilities.

The club was founded in 1888 and has been a popular sports and community hub in the county for many years.
Longford County Planners will decide on the application in October.
