Planning permission is being sought for a new telecommunications tower near Athlone.
Vantage Towers Limited has submitted the application for the infrastructure at Willow Park Football Club at Bonavalley.
Plans seek a 24 metre high lattice tower together with antennae, dishes and associated telecommunications equipment.

The development would be enclosed by security fencing.
Westmeath County Council will decide on the issue in March.
