Plans have been lodged with Leitrim County Council seeking the construction of a new childcare facility in the Mohill Credit Union building.
The credit union occupies the second floor of the structure on Main Street in the town, with the proposed new child care centre operating from the ground floor.
Eivers Lane Childcare CLG is looking for permission for the change of use of the ground floor office space to child care, with plans also calling for an external play area and all associated site development work.

County planners are due to decide on the application in July.
