Plans for much-needed hotel in Boyle scrapped as property for sale

Plans for a much-needed hotel in Boyle have been scrapped as the property is now on sale.

Liam and Justina Gavin, from Drumanilra Farm Kitchen, previously had plans for a boutique hotel and restaurant on Elphin Street.

But they have now put the detached property on the market, for €395,000.

Local Fine Gael TD Frank Feighan is calling for Roscommon County Council to build a hotel in the town.
