Planning permission is being sought for a new housing development in Co. Roscommon.
KDM Contracts Limited has applied for the construction of 34 two and three-storey houses in Monksland, Athlone.
The submission also includes the provision of new estate roads, parking, footpaths, public open space, site landscaping, public lighting and all associated site works.

The project will also see the change of unit types of existing homes currently being developed on site from two bedroom houses to three bedroom dwellings.
Roscommon county planners have received the application and are due to make a decision by the 30th of April.
