A planning application has been submitted for development works at a local graveyard. The submission was made by Curraghs Graveyard Committee in Tarmon, Co. Leitrim. Included in the planning proposal is the extension of the existing graveyard and the construction of a new stone boundary wall.
In addition, a new Columbarium wall is proposed to be constructed at the graveyard, as well as a new site entrance and all ancillary works. The submission was received by Leitrim county planners and is due to be decided upon by the end of July.
