The OPW Minister says a permanent solution to the flooding crisis at Lough Funshinagh will go to planning early next year. OPW Minister Kieran O'Donnell met with residents and local politicians in Roscommon town this morning.
He confirmed that a planning application for a temporary solution will be submitted to An Bord Pleanála tomorrow. Minister O'Donnell says despite the temporary solution being the main focus this week, work continues on a permanent solution to the crisis:
