A PhD student at a local university is appealing for participants for a dementia programme.

Niamh Kelly has developed and is implementing a dance intervention for dementia patients and their care partners. Participants engage in a a series of céili dances followed by tea and coffee. The dances currently take place in Drum community Centre in South Roscommon. Speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show earlier this week, Niamh says exercise is incredibly beneficial to dementia patients.
