Planning permission has been sought for a new housing development in County Roscommon. Sean Doyle & Sons Roscommon Ltd is applying for planning to construct 19 new houses at Abbeytown, Roscommon Town. The development consists of nine, 3 bed, semi-detached houses, four, 4 bed, semi-detached houses, four, 1 bed, own door maisonettes contained in a single 2 storey block and two, 2 bed, semi-detached bungalow houses.
The proposed development also comprises the demolition and clearance of all existing buildings and structures on site along with the construction of 37 car parking spaces and a vehicular and pedestrian entrance from the N63. Roscommon County Planners are due to decide on the application in late February.
