Over 870,000 euro worth of housing rents and annuities were not paid to Roscommon County Council last year.
Over 23,000 euro worth of housing loans also weren't repaid.
Roscommon County Council was due almost €7.8 million from housing tenants last year - but less than €6.9 million was paid.
The council says this is a collection rate of 89 per cent, in line with 2024.
There was a higher collection rate, of 96 per cent, for housing loans.
The council was due to collect almost €627,000 in 2025 - but only €603,505 was paid.
A local authority home loan is a government-backed mortgage for first-time buyers and certain other applicants.
Loans are offered at reduced interest rates.
