€62,000 worth of cocaine and €20,000 worth of cannabis has been seized in Co.Roscommon.
Gardaí from the Divisional Drugs Unit were alerted to a vehicle in the Ballybride area and conducted a search for its owner. A man aged in his 20s was arrested, and a bag containing cocaine with an estimated street value of €52,000 and cannabis with a street value of €20,000 was recovered. The car was searched and a further €10,000 worth of cocaine was seized. The drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
The man is being detained at a station in the Garda North Western Region
