Over €20.2 million is being allocated to farmers across the Shannonside region as part of the Areas of Natural Constraints scheme.
4,831 farmers in Roscommon will be issued with the payment, 2,924 in Leitrim, while in Longford, the number of successful farmers is 2,033.
ANC refers to land designated as disadvantaged due to factors like difficult topography, remoteness, climatic problems, and poor soil conditions, providing financial support to farmers for the higher costs of farming such land.
In line with last year's arrangement, the payments currently issuing are an 85% advance payment on the ANC Scheme.
The 15% of balancing payments are due to commence in early December.
