Over 750 children are waiting for a CAMHS appointment in the region.
The figures were revealed in a response to a parliamentary question.
CAMHS or Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services is a specialist service for people under 18 with moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
You need a referral from your GP or another healthcare professional to access CAMHS.
Across the Midland, Galway-Roscommon and Sligo-Leitrim regions, there are a total of 758 children on the waiting list.
As at end of March, 330 are waiting in Galway-Roscommon, there are 209 in Sligo-Leitrim while Longford is included in the Midlands region which has 219.
