More than 650 applications across the Shannonside region have been approved by the Help-to-Buy scheme since 2020.
It assists first-time purchasers in buying a new property, or one which has been recently converted into a dwelling and not previously lived in.
Figures released by the Tánaiste show a total of 653 claims were approved across counties Longford, Leitrim, and Roscommon.
This includes 211 claims for purchasing a home.
Nationally, 46 thousand applications were approved, with the largest number of approvals in Cork, followed by Dublin and Kildare
