Over 2,000 new car registrations have been recorded across the Shannonside region. The findings come from a recent release compiled by the Society of the Irish Motor Industry. Roscommon holds the highest number of vehicles registered in the region, at 1,121.
The figure is followed by Longford at 550, while Leitrim holds 487. Nationally, 516 new electric cars were registered, a 59.3% increase on the 324 registrations in November 2023.
