Over 150 lorries took part in a truck run in Co Roscommon today in memory of a popular man who died tragically.

Pat McCrann lost his life after a tyre exploded when he was working in a shed in Sheepwalk, Frenchpark, on July 18, 2024.

The 50-year-old ran a tyre business nearby.

Today's truck run, to mark the first anniversary of his death, went from Sheepwalk to Strokestown.

It was well supported, with lorries from near and far turning out.

There was a great atmosphere along the N5, with lots of spectators turning out, and the rain stayed off.
