Shareholders at Ballymahon Mart recently voted in favour of leasing a site for the development.

A public meeting was held in Cooney's Hotel last night, organised by Ballymahon Community Information Partnership.

One of the organisers, Niall Dowler, says there was a robust exchange of views:
