Over 100 people attended a public meeting in Ballymahon last night - with mixed views about a waste-to-energy plant earmarked for the area.

Nephin Renewable Gas intends developing an anaerobic digester - which turns waste into energy.

Shareholders at Ballymahon Mart recently voted in favour of leasing a site for the development.
