Outdoor attractions like zoos, petting farms and heritage sites can welcome back members of the public today.

The maximum attendence allowed at funerals has increased to 25, while outdoor sports like tennis and golf courses can reopen.

Outdoor dining and beer gardens could be allowed from June under the government's plans to ease restrictions.

The easing of restrictions comes as 429 new cases of covid-19 were reported here, with one additional death also recorded.

In Scotland from today, people are allowed to go shopping, workout in a gym, visit a museum and eat out in a pub or restaurant.

Up to 50 people will be able to attend funerals and weddings.
