Campaigners told the meeting they’re concerned another centre will open in the area.

Only 20 people attended a public meeting in Roscommon town tonight, to express their opposition to IPAS centres.

The Department of Migration has turned down an offer to accommodate refugees on Goff Street in the town.

But campaigners told the meeting they’re concerned another centre will open in the area.
