The Enterprise Minister says the hike in prices here bears no connection to what is happening to oil prices internationally.
Peter Burke is calling in fuel retailers for a meeting tomorrow over alleged price gouging since the military action began in Iran last weekend.
However, Fuels for Ireland insists the increases are 'absolutely in line' with wholesale international prices.
