The most recent report from the National Treatment Purchase Fund reveals just over 5,300 inpatients were on the waiting list as of the end of January.

According to the IHCA, many patients will have often made alternative arrangements due to the length of time on the waiting list or may no longer be suitable for treatment.

The new suite features two endoscopy theatres, a minor operations procedure room, and a ten bed recovery bay.
